GYIP and the Friends of Elder Park are working together for the Easter Extravaganza Event in the  Elder Park, on the 11th of April, between 11am and 2pm. There will be competitions galore, including an Easter Bonnet Competition, Egg & Spoon Race, Easter Egg Hunt and Egg decorating competition. Entry is free, and for under 12s only, with those under 5 years old needing to be accompanied by an adult. Contact GYIP for further information.

GYIP has been nominated in the Public Services Team section of the Evening Times Community Champions Awards 2009. The team will be present at the awards ceremony at the Pearce Institute on Thursday, March 26, 2009. One of our members James Donnelly, has also been nominated unde the Youg Community Champions Award. Good luck!
